The sugar is sourced from the central regions of the island of Luzon in northern Philippines. It is produced from noble sugarcane, which is considered to be the highest development of the sugarcane species, and is known for thick stalks with exceptionally high sugar content. Kasama is column-distilled and aged in ex-bourbon American oak barrels, sourced from the Wild Turkey distillery in Kentucky.
